The in-cup milk frother is a built-in feature of your Barista M3 by Ducati machine that froths milk directly in your cup, allowing you to create barista-quality drinks with ease. Add milk to your cup and choose the type of foam you like.

It only works with this specific cup. The reason is that it’s made with a special stainless steel alloy that is suitable for induction and allows magnetic waves to pass through. The good news is that more cups will be available in our online store soon.

Please keep in mind that the quality of the milk foam depends on the milk used. For best results, we recommend whole cow's milk.

As the In-Cup milk frother has no grommets or seals, cleaning is simple. You can clean it by hand or in the dishwasher. Hold the cup under running water for 3 seconds, and it will be clean.

Regular maintenance includes descaling the machine, cleaning the drip tray and water reservoir, and ensuring the In-Cup Milk Frother is free of residue. The inside of the milk frother is cleaned by steaming for 2 seconds after preparing the drink. You can wipe the outside with a damp cloth. If the machine is disconnected from the power supply via the power switch or due to a power failure, it forgets which beverage was last used. The beverage selection then remains in the “Clean” position after rinsing.
